Summer 2019 will see the sneaker obsession that surfaced over the past couple of years, rumble on and dare I say it, get even stronger.

Major fashion houses like Balenciaga, Gucci and Louis Vuitton took the humble chunky sneaker and raised it to new haute-couture heights. Instagram is full of pictures of every fashionista wearing the newest sneakers with everything from jeans to joggers to summer dresses.

But don't despair if you have no interest in sporting the chunky sneaker, because for every bulky trainer out there, there is an equally streamlined silhouette to compete for your attention.
